This part of Utah is known as the Painted Cliffs or Vermillion Cliffs

for obvious reasons, especially when the sunset reflects off of them

and lights them up. I'm always amazed at the details of the colors and design in the landscape, rock  formations and cliffs. 

When you think about it, this is like a time capsule showing and marking the

layers of time that have passed and the layers of earth have

been carved out and eroded away natural elements over time.  

God is an amazing artist.
